LA had two pro-football teams and couldn’t keep either one.
LA Raiders and LA Rams are the modern NFL teams.
Raiders left because (of stadium and) deals Al Davis wanted didn’t happen. In some circles , people felt Al Davis was just using LA as a means to an end dealing with the Oakland situation anyway.
Rams left because of the stadium as well.
Looks like LA got the stadium part right now.
