How Useless Lovers of Heat are Coping With the Dangers of Misery
Heat can be a dangerous thing. The earth or should I say Earth… is currently experiencing a heat wave, with temperatures reaching record highs. Of course, this means that we’re all at risk of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. But there are other dangers as well, such. For example, pets can get very hot in the summertime and can suffer from heat exhaustion if they don’t have access to plenty of water and shade. So it’s important to keep them safe, even in the summertime.
As for humans, we need to drink lots of water and take care to stay hydrated. We also should avoid strenuous exercise in the heat, even if we feel fine otherwise. And finally, we should wear light-colored clothing so that we’re more easily seen emergency personnel if needed.
It’s easy to become dehydrated when you’re working in the heat. Plus, you’re likely sweating a lot more than usual so you’re losing more fluid than usual as well. So keeping yourself hydrated is important no matter what time of year it is.
