How Stupid split second decisions can easily lead to dangerous consequences
The world has a lot of big decisions to make. From the relatively small, like whether or not you want to buy that new smartphone, to the more monumental, like what type of lifestyle you want to lead. One thing that is often overlooked is the second decision. This is a decision that happens after the first decision has already been made. The problem with this is that it can result in an epic catastrophe. In other words, it can cause a lot of damage and lead to a lot of pain.
There are three main reasons why this can happen:
1. The first decision is done poorly and leads to regret and unhappiness. For example, if you buy a new smartphone but it turns out to be too expensive, then you’ll probably feel bad about yourself for a long time.
2. The second decision happens at the wrong time for you; for example, if you decide to go on vacation when you’re sick, then it’s likely that you’ll end up getting sicker as a result. This can end up costing you even more money in medical bills later on down the road.
3. And thirdly, because there are only so many hours in the day, once one decision is made the next one will be much harder to make because your attention will be split between two different things.
Well this explains my split second decision that resulted in failure. Enjoy this one!
