Computer in class sparks endless personal growth

How One Irresponsible Computer in Class Sparked Endless Personal Growth

It’s no secret that students learn best when they are engaged in their work. In fact, research has shown that the more absorbed a student is in what they’re doing, the more likely they are to retain what they’re learning.

The best way to ensure that students are fully engaged in class is to make sure that every one of them has access to a computer. In addition to helping students stay on task, computers can also help foster personal growth giving them opportunities to engage with others online and practice their communication skills.

Computer in classWhile it’s true that most schools don’t have enough computers for every student to use one during class, there are still ways that you can help your students get involved with technology outside of the classroom. Start setting up drop-in times for your students whenever you can and see if they want to get involved. If the opportunity presents itself, consider offering after-school or summer classes in technology so that your students can keep up with developments as they happen.
